Minority Institutes of Higher Education

Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI's)
This site contains 208 federally recognized HSI's. To be considered a HSI, the Hispanic enrollment at a college or university must be at least 25 percent of the total student enrollment.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's)
This site contains all 105 federally recognized HBCU's. These Colleges and Universities have awarded 24 percent of all baccalaureate degrees earned by African Americans nationwide.

Tribal Colleges and Universities
This site contains all 34 federally recognized Tribal Colleges and Universities.
